The Baltimore Sun has inducted 122 area leaders into its Business and Civic Hall of Fame since its inception in 2016.

Overview

  • Thirteen new honorees were announced, bringing the total to 122 since 2016.
  • The class features Sandra and Malcolm Berman, Maria Broom, George L. Bunting Jr., Scott Dorsey, Rhea Feikin, William J. “Bill” McCarthy Jr., Diana Gribbon Motz, Alan Rifkin, George A. Roche, Thomas M. Scalea, Stuart O. “Stu” Simms and Walter Scott Thomas Sr.
  • A committee of past inductees and The Sun’s editorial board reviewed public nominations before the leadership team finalized this year’s selections.
  • A portion of publication proceeds will support veterans’ services through a partnership with The Baltimore Station.
  • The new inductees’ names will be added to a permanent display at The Center Club in downtown Baltimore.
