Baltimore Probe of Open-Air Drug Markets Yields 11 Indictments

Prosecutors say wiretaps traced a bulk cocaine network feeding two East Baltimore street markets.

Overview

  • State and federal officials announced the charges after a nearly year-long investigation centered on the 1800 block of N. Collington Avenue and the 2600 block of Greenmount Avenue.
  • Investigators identified Terell Pryor as a bulk supplier and secured wiretaps that captured calls coordinating large cocaine sales to street distributors.
  • Further intercepts indicated Norman Thomas and Nathaniel Gardner ran a Greenmount Avenue operation with David Montgomery Jr., supplying defendants Sean Chisolm, Ty Ingram, and Eric Purnell.
  • Search warrants executed in September, October, and November 2025 recovered nearly nine kilograms of narcotics, multiple loaded firearms and ammunition, and more than $55,000 in cash.
  • The 11 defendants face counts that include firearm drug trafficking, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of CDS proceeds, illegal firearm possession, and participation in a criminal organization, with cases now proceeding through charging processes.
