Baltimore forensics team investigates a shooting after a Baltimore Police officer and a security guard exchanged gunfire Wednesday with the suspect in a separate shooting, the police department said. Officers arrived around 10:49 a.m. to the 2700 block of Spelman Road in Chery Hill for a report of a shooting. They found a 33-year-old man with what appeared to be life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics took him to the hospital, and he is in critical condition, police said Wednesday afternoon. (Kim Hairston/staff)
