Overview
- Exhibition runs November 2, 2025 through April 5, 2026 as a ticketed show: $18 general, $16 seniors, free for ages 17 and under, with free admission on opening day and Thursday nights.
- Roughly 40 works will be on view, including Sherald’s portraits of Michelle Obama and Breonna Taylor.
- Trans Forming Liberty, portraying a Black trans woman as the Statue of Liberty, will be included in the Baltimore presentation.
- The survey was organized by SFMOMA and curated by Sarah Roberts after earlier stops at SFMOMA and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
