Overview
- Víctor de Aldama has filed new material to the Supreme Court claiming he paid €20,000 in cash so a Valencia property for José Luis Ábalos recorded at €90,000 actually cost €110,000, attaching contracts and emails to support his account.
- Ábalos responded in a filing denying any payment “in black,” arguing the price reflected market conditions and saying Aldama’s documents lack signatures or corroboration, while noting the purchase was funded by cheques, transfers and a €50,000 mortgage.
- An October UCO report cited by the court documents cash envelopes from PSOE headquarters to Ábalos and Koldo García, includes photos of bills in PSOE-branded envelopes, and flags instances where cash deliveries are not backed by party records.
- UCO messages place Koldo’s former partner Patricia Uriz in key cash handoffs and note entries labeled for a “B” account, as prior testimony shows ex-organization chief Santos Cerdán defended elevated Ábalos-related invoices as party expenses.
- Separately, prosecutors Ignacio Stampa and José Grinda reported meetings with Leire Díez and Javier Pérez Dolset seeking sensitive information and invoking an alleged order to “clean,” with a Madrid court now investigating and hearings scheduled in early November; Vox also lodged a complaint on illegal financing and laundering.
