Overview
- On July 15–17 the Baloch Liberation Army and Balochistan Liberation Front said they carried out coordinated ambushes and IED blasts in Kalat, Quetta and Awaran that killed up to 29 soldiers
- Gunmen opened fire on a Quetta-Karachi passenger bus in Kalat district on July 16, killing at least three civilians and wounding up to ten others
- Unidentified attackers struck a Balochistan Constabulary convoy on the National Highway in Mastung district on July 18, killing two security personnel
- Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations office confirmed multiple engagements with militants and acknowledged some military fatalities but rejected insurgent casualty figures as exaggerated
- Security forces, supported by Frontier Corps and local authorities, have surrounded affected areas and launched clearance and search missions across Balochistan
