  • A balloon marked with Pakistan’s national emblem and the acronym “PIA” was spotted on May 30 near Chattri Mata Temple in Kangra district by a local resident, Sheetal.
  • Villagers informed the panchayat head and local police after Sheetal’s father was notified of the find.
  • Another resident, Pritam, reported seeing the balloon drifting in a nearby stream during his morning commute.
  • Kangra district police secured the device and moved it into custody for forensic examination.
