Ballers Raises $20 Million to Launch First Multi-Sport Social Club in Philadelphia

The membership-based venue features racket sports courts, restaurant facilities, bar services, event spaces in a 55,000-square-foot Fishtown complex ahead of national rollout.

  • The Series A round led by Sharp Alpha and RHC Group drew about 30 professional athletes, including Andre Agassi, Sloane Stephens, pickleball pro Connor Garnett and co-investor David Blitzer.
  • The Philadelphia club’s 55,000-square-foot Turbine Hall site will house six pickleball courts, three padel courts, two squash courts, four golf simulators, a turf field, two bars and a full-service restaurant.
  • Monthly memberships from $99 to $499 grant access to luxury locker rooms, members-only recovery spaces and special events alongside pay-per-use court bookings and private rentals.
  • Ballers plans to debut an outdoor Boston Seaport location with convertible padel courts and ice rinks in August, followed by indoor venues in Miami and Los Angeles by mid-2026.
  • Co-founders from Vero Capital and Good City Studio are leveraging the racket sports boom to pursue over 50 U.S. locations in the next seven to ten years.
