Bali Orders Deportation of Bonnie Blue After Raid, Citing Visa Misuse

Police say seized footage showed no pornographic content, shifting the case to visa and traffic violations.

Overview

  • Immigration chief Hery Winarko said Tia Billinger, known as Bonnie Blue, will be deported and blacklisted from Indonesia for at least 10 years once police finish their probe.
  • Badung Police said witnesses described the filming as an entertainment-style reality show and that no pornographic elements were identified in material reviewed so far.
  • Billinger and three men, including Australian comedian Julian Wood, are set for a fast trial at Denpasar District Court on Friday over alleged traffic offenses linked to a pickup branded “Bang Bus.”
  • Passports and devices were confiscated after the Badung raid, which also seized cameras, contraceptives and the marked vehicle, with most of the 17 detained men released as witnesses.
  • Officials emphasized that severe anti‑pornography penalties were not being pursued at this stage, with enforcement proceeding through immigration action and alleged traffic breaches.
