Baldoni’s Ex-Agent Calls Lively’s Conduct ‘Extortion’ in Deposition

Discovery has closed with a status hearing set for Oct. 21.

Overview

  • In documents obtained by People, former WME agent Danny Greenberg said Lively’s cumulative behavior during It Ends With Us felt like “extortion,” a term he used in 2024 emails and later clarified was not a literal criminal allegation.
  • A spokesperson for Lively called the excerpt a recycled distraction and said it has no bearing on her sexual harassment and retaliation claims against Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios.
  • Makeup artist Vivian Baker testified that the alleged inappropriate incidents occurred during the first phase of filming, while Lively’s agent Warren Zavala said he was unaware of issues in the second phase but acknowledged complaints during post-production.
  • Most of Baldoni’s countersuit, including claims tied to alleged extortion and defamation, was dismissed in June, and his team did not refile amended claims.
  • Discovery in the case ended Oct. 10, a status hearing is scheduled for Oct. 21 in the Southern District of New York, and trial is set for March 2026 with both Lively and Baldoni expected to testify.
