Bakerloo Partly Shut All Day as Tube Disruption Rolls Into Thursday
Repairs follow signal failures, faulty trains, a depot incident across the network.
Overview
- TfL says there will be no Bakerloo service between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone all day due to an operational incident in the depot, with minor delays on the rest of the line.
- The District line is part suspended between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway after a signal failure at Turnham Green, and there are minor delays elsewhere on the line.
- On Wednesday evening, the Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, District, Piccadilly and Weaver lines faced severe delays, with partial suspensions on Bakerloo and District and minor delays on Central and Victoria.
- TfL attributed the disruption to points and signal failures at Aldgate and King's Cross plus faulty trains at Finsbury Park and Fulham Broadway, and it apologised as engineers worked to restore normal service.
- National Rail reported a recurring signalling fault at London Liverpool Street that closed platforms 7 to 10, with overnight repair work scheduled.
