Overview
- ISPR said an intelligence-based raid in Khar, Bajaur on December 29 killed five militants and resulted in the martyrdom of 36-year-old Major Adeel Zaman, with weapons recovered and area sanitisation underway.
- Police reported a major operation along the Kohat–Karak border that killed at least eight TTP militants and destroyed multiple hideouts, with efforts continuing in mountainous terrain.
- Peshawar police said five suspected professional target killers were shot dead in an intelligence-led operation in Daudzai; the group was blamed for more than 30 targeted killings and a CTD case was registered.
