Overview

• Anthony Thomas Perrett, 38, was refused bail in Maroochydore Magistrates Court after being charged with torturing 56-year-old Andrew Burow.
• Co-accused Billy John Howard, 26, also faces a torture charge, with both men remanded and due back in court on October 13.
• Police told the court they have photos of a severely beaten Burow, witness evidence of a FaceTime stream of assaults, and phone data showing the men travelling with him between August 20 and 26.

• Homicide detectives are processing multiple crime scenes at Kelvin Grove, Bli Bli, Pomona and Lake MacDonald; Burow remains missing and neither man has been charged over his disappearance.
