Overview

  • Inauguration is expected on January 19 with service planned for January 20, subject to the city’s habite‑se inspection and final approvals.
  • The terminal sits on BR‑324 in Águas Claras with 127,000 m² of land, 41,000 m² built area, over 800 parking spaces, more than 230 commercial units, and a SAC office.
  • Planned integration includes the Águas Claras metro station, a bus terminal with 10 metropolitan lines, 363 intermunicipal routes, and a future VLT link on Avenida 29 de Março.
  • The Salvador public works authority (Sucop) signed a commitment with the concessionaire to carry out asphalt restoration and paving around the site.
  • Passenger volume is projected at 3.6 million in the first year versus 2.8 million at the current facility, with about 39,000 daily users and 4% annual growth thereafter.
