South Korean thriller 'Badland Hunters' tops global Netflix charts within two days of its release, according to the streaming tracking site Flixpatrol.
The dystopian film describes Korea's capital Seoul gone lawless following devastating earthquakes. A fearless huntsman appears and rescues a teenager kidnapped by a deranged doctor.
Badland Hunters is a sequel to the movie Concrete Utopia which also occurs after an earthquake where a husband and wife try to survive.
The movie is directed by Heo Myeong-haeng and stars mostly Korean actors and actresses, including Ma Dong-seok, Lee Hee-jun, Lee Jun-young, Roh Jeong-eui and Anh Ji-hye.
The film ends with the area experiencing its first rain after three long years of devastation and draught, signifying the annihilation of evil.
