• Public voting is open at premiosjuventud.com through Sept. 1 to decide winners across all categories.
• The ceremony will air live Sept. 25 from Panama City on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión and ViX at 7 p.m. EDT, and Clarissa Molina is the first announced host.
• This year’s theme is “Evolving to the rhythm of music,” with eight new categories that include Best Alternative Mexican Music Song, Best Pop/Rhythmic Song and AfrobeatLatino of the Year.
• Texas-based talent features prominently, including Selena Gomez (OMG Collaboration for “Ojos Tristes”), Grupo Frontera (four nods), Play-N-Skillz, Ha*Ash and activist Carlos Eduardo Espina (Creator with a Social Cause).
