  • The IGP logged a magnitude 4.1 event at 05:58 local time 76 km southwest of Paita at 36 km depth, followed 29 minutes later by a magnitude 4.2 quake 79 km southwest at 40 km depth.
  • Both tremors were felt at intensity II on the Mercalli scale in Paita with no injuries or material damage reported by local authorities.
