Overview
- B-52H Stratofortresses departed Morón Air Base on Nov. 24 and arrived at Barksdale Air Force Base, ending the Bomber Task Force Europe 26-1 deployment.
- Aircrews executed complex scenarios across European, Central, and Africa Command areas, integrating with a NATO E-3 and sharpening F2T2 processes under A2/AD conditions.
- Training with air forces from Finland, Lithuania, and Sweden focused on deterrence along Europe’s eastern flank and the High North.
- In the Middle East, bombers participated in Qatar’s Exercise Ferocious Falcon 6 from Nov. 16–20 with U.S., Qatari, Italian, British, Turkish, and French forces, and performed a Dubai Airshow flyover.
- U.S. JTACs conducted ground-to-air coordination with the Mauritanian Air Force over Atar, Mauritania, as crews also validated rapid refueling and regeneration in unfamiliar or austere locations.
