- In Goa, the All India Institute of Ayurveda inaugurated an Integrative Oncology Unit developed with Tata Memorial Centre, with a tripartite MoU signed by AIIA-Goa, Tata Memorial and the Goa government.
- AIIA-Goa also opened a Central Sterile Supply Department, a hospital linen processing unit and a blood bank to expand clinical capacity and support integrative care.
- The Ministry spotlighted national platforms and campaigns, including the DRAVYA portal for AYUSH substances and the ‘Desh ka Swasthya Parikshan’ health-assessment drive, alongside expos, free check-ups, Prakriti assessments and yoga camps across India.
- Gujarat announced more than 8,000 Ayurvedic camps and workshops focused on women’s and children’s health, geriatric care and lifestyle diseases across the coming year.
- Kerala launched 12 AYUSH projects worth ₹14.39 crore and said the hospital block of the International Ayurveda Research Institute in Kannur will be completed by December, as officials also emphasized prevention and growing global recognition, with Goa’s governor saying over 150 countries now celebrate the day.
