Overview
- RM Sotheby’s has listed the sedan for its November 1 London sale with a published estimate of €255,000 to €290,000.
- The right-hand-drive Smoke Silver example was personally collected in Stuttgart with Mauricio Gugelmin and comes with factory invoice, registration and tax papers in Senna’s name.
- Senna used the car for roughly two years and around 40,000 to 45,000 kilometers before selling it in 1987 ahead of his move to Monaco and switch to McLaren.
- The odometer now reads roughly 248,000 to 250,000 kilometers, and the car retains a Becker Mexico radio, original toolkit, extinguisher, unused first-aid kit and Niki Lauda’s 2016 engine-bay signature.
- The current owner bought the car in 1996 and took it to Australia in 2004, and the private UK plate “B15ENA” can be purchased on request.
