Ayodhya to Unveil Ramayana Wax Museum on Ram Mandir Parikrama Path for Deepotsav 2025

Officials report a PPP build with roughly ₹7.5 crore invested.

Overview

  • The 10,000 sq ft attraction is being built along the Parikrama Path of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.
  • Nearly 50 lifelike figures of Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, Sugriv and Jatayu will feature prominently.
  • Key episodes such as the Ram–Ravan battle, Sita’s abduction and Hanuman’s journey to Lanka will use audio-visual and interactive displays.
  • A Maharashtra-based organisation, working with experts from Kerala, is crafting the statues for authentic detailing.
  • Municipal commissioner Jayendra Kumar says construction is advancing under close monitoring, with Deepotsav set for Oct 28–31 and the main diya lighting on Oct 30.
