Ayodhya Temple Consecrates Ram Darbar in Second Pran Pratishtha

The ritual led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath installed Lord Ram’s royal form along with seven other deities following a three-day Vedic ceremony on Ganga Dussehra.

The entire ceremony of Pran Pratishtha performed by CM Yogi Adityanath along with the vedic rituals, lasted for around 45 to 50 minutes.

  • The three-day consecration began June 3 with a Jal Kalash Yatra along the Sarayu River and concluded on Ganga Dussehra, following strict Vedic rituals.
  • White marble idols of Lord Ram’s royal form alongside Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughna and Hanuman were consecrated in eight newly constructed shrines aided by synchronized audio-visual technology.
  • Security forces including CRPF, SSF and PAC enforced a red zone around the complex and public darshan of the new installations remains on hold pending a structured entry plan.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the ceremony as a “glorious and historic moment” and noted the event’s role in cementing Ayodhya’s status as a major spiritual destination.
