Ayodhya Deepotsav Health Plan: 15 Temporary Hospitals, 24/7 Ambulances Deployed

The surge plan reserves 50 emergency beds across three city hospitals to handle festival crowds.

  • The Uttar Pradesh health department is setting up 15 temporary hospitals and 15 temporary primary health centres for Deepotsav 2025.
  • Ambulances will operate round the clock at 10 key points covering temple complexes, ghats and transit hubs, including the Ram Janmabhoomi complex and Ayodhya Dham railway station.
  • Fifty emergency beds are reserved for rapid care: 20 at Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College, 20 at District Hospital Ayodhya and 10 at Shri Ram Hospital.
  • Medical camps are positioned across high-traffic locations such as the control room area, Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhavan, Nageshwar Nath, Karsevakpuram and Ayodhya Dham, with an 8-bed unit at Pakka Ghat.
  • Specialist doctor teams from Amethi, Ambedkarnagar, Barabanki and Sultanpur are being deployed, and the CMO says facilities will be stocked with essential medicines and staffed for continuous vigilance.
