Ayo Edebiri and Steven Yeun Exit Marvel's 'Thunderbolts'; Replacements Announced

Geraldine Viswanathan and Lewis Pullman join the cast as the film's release is pushed to July 2025 due to last year's Hollywood strike.

Ayo Edebiri has exited Marvel's upcoming 'Thunderbolts' movie due to scheduling conflicts, and will be replaced by Geraldine Viswanathan.
Steven Yeun, who was initially set to play Sentry in the film, also left due to scheduling conflicts and has been replaced by Lewis Pullman.
'Thunderbolts' is directed by Jake Schreier and is expected to showcase a team of villains and antiheroes enlisted by the government, similar to DC's Suicide Squad.
The film's release date has been pushed to July 25, 2025, due to the Hollywood SAG-AFTRA strike last year.
The cast still includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Hannah John-Kamen.
