Macintosh-Inspired Device Offers Powerful Specs in a Compact, Portable Design

Ayaneo's Retro Mini PC AM01, inspired by the original Macintosh, is available for pre-order with prices starting at $149 for early bird customers.
The Mini PC comes with either an AMD Ryzen 3 3200U or a Ryzen 7 5700U processor, up to 64GB of DDR4 memory, and an integrated Vega or RDNA2 video card.
The device is highly portable, weighing just over a pound and measuring 5.2 by 5.2 inches with a depth of just over 2 inches.
The AM01 is expandable up to 64GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM and 2TB of M.2 solid state storage, and also features a SATA 3.0 interface that supports a 2.5-inch SDD or HDD.
While the device comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, users can also install Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, and gaming-based operating systems like Steam OS.
