• Axel Trevino, 32, was arrested around 4 p.m. Tuesday and remained jailed Wednesday as authorities awaited a charging decision.
• Deputies found three people fatally shot inside two vehicles around 4:45 p.m. Sunday at a vacant lot near 215th Street East and East Palmdale Boulevard.
• Investigators report Trevino pulled alongside a westbound vehicle on East Avenue Q near 215th Street and opened fire, then shot into a second vehicle before fleeing.
• The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the victims as Juan Arteaga Diaz, 44, Nazario Ramirez, 54, and Beverly Cassese, 65.
