Axel Rudakubana Faces Trial for Southport Stabbings and Ricin Production

The 18-year-old remains silent in court as he faces multiple charges, including murder and possession of a terror-related document.

Axel Rudakubana is accused of murdering three young girls during a knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport on July 29.
He also faces charges of attempted murder concerning eight children, a yoga instructor, and a businessman, as well as possession of a knife.
Additional charges include producing the toxin ricin and possessing an Al-Qaeda training manual, although the stabbings have not been classified as terrorism-related.
Rudakubana has not entered any pleas and has remained silent during court hearings, with a trial set to begin on January 20, 2025.
The attack led to widespread riots across the UK, fueled by misinformation about the suspect's identity and background.
