Axel Milberg’s Final 'Tatort' as Borowski Airs March 16

After over 20 years and 43 episodes, the iconic Kiel detective prepares for retirement in 'Borowski and the Head of Medusa.'

Axel Milberg's final appearance as Detective Borowski in the Kiel-based 'Tatort' series is scheduled for March 16, 2025, on ARD.
The episode, titled 'Borowski and the Head of Medusa,' features the detective tackling a complex case just days before his planned retirement.
Milberg has portrayed the eccentric investigator in 43 episodes since his debut in November 2003's 'Väter.'
A new 'Tatort' duo, featuring Karoline Schuch as police psychologist Elli Krieger and Almila Bagriacik as Detective Mila Sahin, has already begun filming episodes set to air in 2026.
The upcoming double feature, 'Among Friends / Among Enemies,' will mark the debut of the new Kiel team, continuing the series' legacy.
