Overview

  • AI Agents and Tools is now live on AWS Marketplace, letting enterprises browse prebuilt agents from Anthropic, IBM, Perplexity, Salesforce and other vendors alongside deployment infrastructure components.
  • AgentCore enters preview in select regions—US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Sydney) and Europe (Frankfurt)—free until September 16, 2025, before shifting to consumption-based pricing.
  • The modular AgentCore stack provides runtime, memory, identity, observability, API integration, browser access and code-execution services to move agents from prototype to production.
  • AgentCore supports any agent framework or foundation model, including open-source toolkits such as CrewAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph and AWS’s Strands Agents SDK, and embraces MCP and A2A protocols.
  • Built-in Bedrock-powered search recommends agents and solutions via natural-language prompts, and a performance dashboard streamlines monitoring and operations, backed by a $100 million investment in agentic AI.
