Avril Lavigne Debuts First Wine, 'Banshee Complicated' Pinot Noir, Available Now for $30

The small-batch release grew out of a backstage partnership with Banshee Wines during her Greatest Hits Tour.

Overview

  • The limited-edition pinot noir is sold exclusively through the Banshee website and at the winery’s tasting room while supplies last.
  • Banshee will offer 50 optional “Sip and Spin” kits that bundle a record player with Lavigne’s Let Go on vinyl as an add-on to wine purchases.
  • The collaboration follows two years of Banshee’s bar being a fixture backstage and at afterparties on Lavigne’s tour, where the wine was created for the setup.
  • Banshee pledged a $10,000 donation to She Is the Music to support songwriting camps in honor of Lavigne’s career.
  • Described as light and velvety with bright cherry and raspberry notes, the small-batch wine nods to Lavigne’s 2002 hit “Complicated” and comes from Banshee, part of Foley Family Wines & Spirits.
