AVM Rebrands as FRITZ! GmbH to Align Company Name with Flagship Router Brand

Leveraging the Fritz! brand’s market strength provides clearer corporate identity for partners, customers as well as greater international outreach.

Overview

  • AVM Computersysteme Vertriebs GmbH officially changed its legal name to FRITZ! GmbH in August 2025, concluding a phased rebranding that began with domain and logo updates in March.
  • The renaming is purely cosmetic, leaving all operations, partner agreements and customer experiences unchanged.
  • Since March 2025 the avm.de domain has redirected to fritz.com and every product now carries an updated “F!” or “FRITZ!” logo in the established font.
  • The decision follows AVM’s acquisition by Imker Capital Partners in summer 2024 and taps into Fritz!’s roughly 80 percent brand awareness in Germany.
  • Holding about two-thirds of the German router market and 18 percent across Europe, the unified branding aims to bolster international expansion while maintaining its Berlin-based structure.
