AviAlliance Acquires AGS Airports in £1.53 Billion Deal

The acquisition includes Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Southampton airports, with AviAlliance set to assume significant debt as part of the transaction.

AviAlliance will pay £900 million for AGS Airports and take on £653 million in debt, with the deal expected to close in early 2025.
The acquisition adds to AviAlliance's portfolio, which includes airports in Greece, Germany, and Puerto Rico.
AGS Airports, serving over 10.8 million passengers annually, was previously owned by Ferrovial and Macquarie since 2014.
Ferrovial and Macquarie have invested £250 million in the airports, including major expansions at Aberdeen and Southampton.
PSP Investments, the parent company of AviAlliance, is a major Canadian pension investor with significant UK infrastructure holdings.
