Avalanche acquire center Ryan Johansen from Predators; Galchenyuk headed to Nashville

The Colorado Avalanche acquired Ryan Johansen from the Nashville Predators to fill their second-line center role.
In exchange, pending free agent Alex Galchenyuk will go to the Predators.
Johansen brings leadership, experience, and size to the Avalanche roster.
The Predators will retain half of Johansen's $8 million salary cap hit over the next two seasons.
Galchenyuk did not record a point in 11 games with the Avalanche this season and had a minus-8 rating.
