Overview

• The autopsy determined that Solange Ábalos suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke during her morning workout.
• Ábalos, a 34-year-old mother of four who had recently resumed gym training with a friend, collapsed around 8 a.m. at the Coronel Dorrego facility.
• Gym staff and bystanders performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation under the gym’s protected-area protocols but were unable to revive her.
• Investigators have not uncovered any preexisting medical conditions or operational lapses at the gym.
• The case is classified as an “averiguación causales de muerte” and the findings are being incorporated into the UFI 5 investigation.
