Overview
- Toyota publishes new ex-showroom prices across its range from Sept. 22, including reductions up to about Rs 16.07 lakh on the Land Cruiser LC300 and around Rs 2.57 lakh on the Vellfire.
- Additional Toyota cuts include the Hilux lower by up to roughly Rs 2.53 lakh after its tax drops to 40 percent, and the Camry down by about Rs 1.02 lakh.
- Maruti Suzuki revises SUV prices effective Sept. 22, trimming the Fronx by up to about Rs 1.11 lakh, the Brezza by Rs 30,000–48,000, the Jimny by Rs 44,000–52,000, the Grand Vitara by up to Rs 68,000, and the Invicto by Rs 54,000–61,000.
- Compact SUVs see some of the biggest benefits under GST 2.0, with the Hyundai Venue down by up to Rs 1.32 lakh, Kia Sonet by up to Rs 1.64 lakh, and Tata Nexon by up to Rs 1.55 lakh from Sept. 22.
- Mahindra began passing on GST 2.0 benefits earlier than rivals, cutting XUV 3XO prices by up to Rs 1.56 lakh from Sept. 6, as dealers forecast a stronger festive sales period.
