Overview

• The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office named the deceased as 20-year-old Matteo Ramirez-Santos of Santa Rosa, saying he had outstanding warrants for weapons and robbery charges and was documented as a gang member.
• Police say he assaulted his 19-year-old ex-girlfriend at her parents' home, pistol-whipped her, and threatened to kill her and any responding officers.
