Autauga County Man Sentenced to 965 Years for Child Sex Crimes

Overview

• Circuit Judge Amanda Baxley ordered every sentence to run consecutively and told Jason Hudson her goal was that the pardons and parole board never reads his name.
• A jury on Oct. 23 found Hudson guilty on 84 counts including first-degree rape and sodomy of a child under 12, sexual abuse of a child under 12, incest, five counts of producing child sexual abuse material, and 75 counts of possession.
• Prosecutors said a NCMEC tip led to a multi-agency investigation that uncovered thousands of illicit images and videos, including abuse of children younger than 2 and home recordings of Hudson’s assaults.
• District Attorney C.J. Robinson called the evidence the most disturbing he has seen and said he wished the death penalty were available in this case.
• The victim addressed the court to assert her resilience, and Hudson’s wife, Farren Jill Hudson, previously pleaded guilty to sodomy and received a 30-year sentence.
