  • From 1 February 2027 only digital, license‑plate‑linked vignettes will be accepted, with enforcement handled by electronic camera checks.
  • Tariffs for 2026 rise by 2.9%: annual car €106.80, two‑month €32.00, ten‑day €12.80, one‑day €9.60.
  • Online purchases of two‑month and annual vignettes activate after an 18‑day cooling‑off period, while one‑ and ten‑day online buys and all point‑of‑sale purchases are valid immediately.
  • ASFINAG cites over 75% digital uptake already, is growing sales access from roughly 3,500 outlets and about 100 kiosks toward around 6,000 locations, and notes penalties of a €120 replacement toll for cars or fines up to €3,000 for violations.
