- Organizers confirmed 99 of the top 100 men and 98 of the top 100 women are entered for Melbourne Park next month.
- Men’s entries were based on the Nov. 17 year-end rankings and women’s on Dec. 8, shaping cutoffs and alternates for each list.
- Protected rankings secured spots for Karolina Pliskova, Wang Yafan and Mananchaya Sawangkaew, and for Juncheng Shang, Zhang Zhizhen, Emil Ruusuvuori and Thanasi Kokkinakis.
- Three wildcards are already allocated on each side: James Duckworth, Bu Yunchaokete and Patrick Kypson for the men; Emerson Jones, Zarina Diyas and Elisabeth Mandlik for the women.
- Qualifying runs Jan. 12–15 with seedings finalized after the Jan. 12 rankings update, and the main draw is scheduled for Jan. 18–Feb. 1.
