Overview

• Lieutenant General Simon Stuart met Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth at Pune’s Southern Command headquarters and addressed cadets at the National Defence Academy on collective security.
• He is scheduled to visit Bharat Forge Limited to review India’s indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities before concluding his tour.
• On arrival in New Delhi he paid homage at the National War Memorial, received a Guard of Honour and was briefed on Operation Sindoor and the state-of-the-art Thal Sena Bhavan facility.
• On August 12 Kazakhstan’s Chief of the General Staff held discussions with General Upendra Dwivedi on expanding bilateral army cooperation in New Delhi.
