  • The driver in the Airport Boulevard incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with the APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit, though investigations into both cases are ongoing and initial assessments may be revised.
  • The current total of 67 traffic fatalities as of August 18 marks an increase over comparable dates in 2024, reflecting a rising trend in deadly crashes reported by the department.
