Butler portrays Gale 'Buck' Cleven, a WWII bomber pilot, in the nine-episode Apple TV+ series.
The series chronicles the real-life friendship between B-17 fighter pilots Gale 'Buck' Cleven and John 'Bucky' Egan as they face the challenges of war.
Butler's next role will be as Feyd-Rautha in 'Dune: Part Two', set to release on March 1.
Butler's performance in 'Elvis' was highly praised, earning him a Golden Globe for Best Actor.
