One suspect, Naudi Lopez-Fernandez, is in custody, while two others, Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco and Niefred Jose Serpa-Acosta, remain at large.
A recent fatal shooting near Whispering Pines, another complex allegedly impacted by the Tren de Aragua gang, is under investigation with no suspects identified yet.
Police Chief Todd Chamberlain emphasized that the focus is on criminal behavior, not immigration status, and denied that gangs have 'taken over' the city.
The Tren de Aragua gang is known for various criminal activities, including extortion and human trafficking, and has allegedly taken control of several Aurora apartment complexes.
