Augsburg Zoo's Rhino Kibibi Euthanized Due to Kidney Failure

Despite treatment efforts, Kibibi showed no signs of recovery, prompting the decision to euthanize for her welfare.
Kibibi arrived at Augsburg Zoo in 2008 and became a mother for the first time in 2016.
Her calf, Paco, born in December 2023, is now being cared for by his 'aunt' Numbi, with whom he is forming a strong bond.
