Audio of Roger Stone Allegedly Plotting Assassinations of Democrats Emerges

An audio clip allegedly featuring Roger Stone, a close ally of former President Donald Trump, discussing the assassination of Democratic leaders Rep. Eric Swalwell and Rep. Jerrold Nadler has been released by news site Mediaite.
Stone has denied the allegations and claimed that the audio is the work of artificial intelligence.
The audio was reportedly recorded in a conversation with former NYPD officer Sal Greco, weeks before the 2020 election.
There are now calls for Stone to face criminal investigation over his remarks heard in the audio.
Stone was previously pardoned by Trump after being convicted of lying to Congress in relation to former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
