Audi Unveils Q3 Sportback With Sleeker Roofline, Long-Range PHEV and Overhauled Controls

European deliveries start in November with Germany pricing from €46,450, completing the latest Q3 lineup.

Overview

  • A 29mm lower, coupe-style roof distinguishes the Sportback and trims practicality, with maximum cargo dropping to 1,289L versus 1,386L in the standard Q3.
  • The range mirrors the SUV with 1.5 TFSI mild-hybrid front-drive, 2.0 TFSI all-wheel-drive in two outputs, a 2.0 TDI, and an e‑hybrid rated at about 200 kW/272 hp and 400 Nm.
  • The plug-in hybrid claims roughly 118–119 km WLTP electric range and supports DC fast charging up to 50 kW, with a 10–80% recharge in under 30 minutes.
  • Inside, a curved ‘digital stage’ pairs 11.9-inch instruments and a 12.8-inch infotainment running Android Automotive, and a new steering-wheel control unit replaces traditional stalks with right-side gear selection and left-side indicators, lights and wipers.
  • Europe gets the Q3 in October and the Sportback in November 2025, with wider rollouts reported for 2026 in markets such as Australia and India.
