Audi Unveils 2025 Q3 and Q5 SUVs With New Plug-In Hybrid Lineup

Orders begin this summer for the third-generation Q3 ahead of its October launch, following June’s introduction of the Q5 plug-in hybrid with up to 100 km of electric range.

Overview

  • The Q5 E-Hybrid Quattro and Sportback variants went on order in mid-June with a 25.9 kWh battery delivering up to 100 km of electric driving and two power outputs of 220 kW (300 PS) and 270 kW (367 PS).
  • Audi will start taking orders for the new Q3 this summer ahead of its October 2025 launch, including a plug-in “e-hybrid 200 kW” model with 272 PS, 400 Nm torque and up to 120 km of electric range on a 25.7 kWh battery.
  • Both SUVs feature Audi’s latest digital matrix LED headlights with a micro-LED module capable of projecting warning symbols and a curved 11.9-inch digital cockpit merging into a 12.8-inch touchscreen.
  • German prices for the entry-level Q3 TFSI begin at €44,600, while Q5 E-Hybrid Quattro models start at €63,400 and rise above €71,800 for the higher-output Sportback.
  • New safety and convenience tech includes an adaptive cruise assist system that handles lane changes from 90 to 210 km/h and an AI-powered voice assistant for hands-free control.
