Overview

  • Sharing MQB Evo underpinnings with the new Q3, the Sportback is defined by a roofline lowered by 29mm for a sleeker profile.
  • Maximum cargo capacity falls to 1,289 litres with the rear seats folded, versus 1,386 litres in the SUV, with several outlets reporting 488 litres with the seats up.
  • Powertrains mirror the Q3 SUV, spanning petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid and a plug-in hybrid rated at 200kW and 400Nm.
  • The plug-in hybrid claims 118–119km of WLTP electric range and supports DC fast charging up to 50kW with a 10–80% refill in under 30 minutes.
  • European deliveries begin in October for the Q3 and November for the Sportback, priced from €44,600 and €46,450 respectively, with Australia expected in early 2026 and India to follow in 2026.
