Audi Driver Arrested After Dragging Motorcyclist on Bonnet for 3 Kilometers in Pune

Incident followed a collision and altercation, with police investigating potential alcohol involvement by the accused.

The incident occurred in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, after an Audi rear-ended a motorcycle ridden by Zacheria Mathew and his friend.
Following a heated argument, the car's driver, Kamlesh Patil, allegedly attempted to run over Mathew, causing him to cling to the car's bonnet.
Mathew was dragged for over three kilometers before the vehicle stopped to drop off a female passenger.
Police arrested Kamlesh Patil, 23, and two associates, Hemant Mhalaskar, 26, and Prathamesh Darade, 22, under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Authorities are awaiting blood test results to confirm if the accused were under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
