Overview

  • Auburn football will feature its first on-field corporate sponsorship through a five-year agreement with YellaWood.
  • The words 'Pat Dye Field' will appear at each 25-yard line at Jordan-Hare Stadium with YellaWood’s logo placed smaller beneath, and each display will measure 18 feet by 21 feet.
  • Fans are slated to see the new markings for the first time at the Sept. 6 home opener against Ball State.
  • Athletics director John Cohen called the gift 'so much more than a sponsorship agreement,' and YellaWood CEO Jimmy Rane said the design prioritizes Dye’s name.
  • Auburn will hold a Pat Dye reunion weekend Sept. 5–6 marking 20 years since his College Football Hall of Fame induction; the playing surface was named for Dye in 2005.
